Composed as an experiment in harmonic mixing, the style is a curious blend of contrasts, exploring dark and light, soft and driven, all while remaining highly melodic.
Ninja?s Showtime kicks it off, involving the listener in a deep fusion of full-on energy and balanced atmospheric sounds. The gothic character of the mix becomes apparent by the time Dark Soho?s track slides in. The keystone is Logic Bomb?s Marauder 2, the strongest example of the yin and yang contrasts evident throughout the tale. Soon the mix takes a deeper turn, diving into the holy choirs of Infected Mushroom?s Facing and mysterious atmospheres of Meller?s Valhalla. The story concludes with The Higher Human Form?s I Hear Them Call, an ethereal comedown which aptly summarizes the sacred themes of the mix.
Aaaaaahhhhh, where is Zerinnerung? From now on Zerinnerung is called Mixotic because that’s an easier word for non-Germans. For some it will take some time getting used to it, but the new great mix should help at least a bit. 🙂

Reprezentation stands for Representation but written with the spirit of ZEN,
this is to be found all over the Ninja Tune label. As the title already suggest,
I tried to make a representation of the Ninja Tune label. To test if this was indeed
a good representation I took the plunge and sent a copy to Ninja Tune headquarters. Bundled with the awesome artwork PF made for the mix. At first I didn’t hear anything
until 1 year after I sent the mix. Then, as I had all but given up hope of a reply, DK from the Solid Steel Radioshow emailed me requesting the playlist because he was about to play my mix on the show! I was amazed, as this show is well recognized and respected… and this meant that my mix would be broadcasted across the world. As you can imagine I feel very honoured.
