DJ PINCH: Dass Bristol sich neben London als zweites Zentrum der englischen Dubstep-Szene etabliert hat, ist zu einem großen Teil DJ Pinch zu verdanken. In der Hafenstadt im Südwesten Englands veranstaltet er seit 2005 die erfolgreiche ?Subloaded?-Partyreihe und bringt auf seinem Label ?Tectonic? eigene Produktionen, sowie Tracks von lokalen und internationalen Künstlern wie Moving Ninja, Skream, Loefah und Omen heraus. Sein ?Qawwali Dub? erregte als Dubplate in der Szene großes Aufsehen und wurde schließlich auf dem renommierten ?Planet Mu? Label von Mike Paradinas (µ-ziq) veröffentlicht.

THE CELL: Der neueröffnete zweite Floor des Kapital ist ab Juni die Heimat für die monatliche Dubstep-Session des Freak Camp, einem Zusammenschluss bass-verrückter Berliner DJs, Produzenten und MCs.

Der ehemalige Banktresor im Keller des Gebäudes an der Potsdamer Straße ist mit einem hervorragenden Soundsystem ausgestattet – heftige Bassvibrationen sind garantiert!

DJ PINCH: It is mainly due to DJ Pinch, that Bristol has established itself as the second centre of the British dubstep scene outside of London. He?s not o­nly promoting the city?s first and most successful dubstep night ?Subloaded?, but is also running a label called ?Tectonic?, which has already released artists like Moving Ninja, Skream, Loefah and Omen. His own ?Qawwali? dub created some major mayhem o­n dubstep floors last year and has subsequently been released o­n the renowned ?Planet Mu? record label.
